Vampire Studies
Vampire studies have been a growing trend in universities since the 1970’s, albeit a controversial one. Some humans don't think it right to expand upon the knowledge of the undead, satisfied enough to leave them on the fringes. Vampires as a whole haven't taken a stance one way or the other, though a few select groups have voiced their support or, conversely, their agitation.

Vampires after Death
Following True-death, Vampires shrivel up (unlike True Blood explode-style), giving hunters the ability to provide concrete proof of kills. (Added by Nary in An Act of God)

Carmine Syracuse HQ - Fairmount
The Carmine building is unassuming for Fairmount. Tiny, solar-powered lanterns line the elegant pavers of the driveway–headlights must be extinguished after turning into the drive after dark. Set low beneath the trees, the only lights seen from the driveway are two faux-torches framing the double front doors. It's a large structure, but most hunters only see the vestibule/lobby where they can drop off trophies and pick up their pay. Opulent furnishings are everywhere including legendary art pieces, marble, hardwood floors, and gilt. The front desk is only occasionally manned. Upper management presumably lives in the rest of the building. (Added by Nary in Them or Us)

Checks are printed on identical stock, paid under an assumed LLC, with a random P.O. Box located in New York City, Orlando, Chicago, or Cleveland.

Blood Types
It is the law for all humans to register their blood type with the local authorities. Succubus typically have a blood type preference and if they stick to this preference their hunting patterns can be tracked.

Witches Sensing Other Witches
Witches can sense the presence of other witches. Depending on the manifestation of their powers, it can appear as mist, the shifting of air, or an actual smell.

Vampire Senses
Vampires are able to tell the approximate age of each other. The older you are, the more accurate the sense is.

Carmine sends more than one hunter on every solo mission to ensure completion.

Wyverns
Wyverns can mark a creature of the earth as their own. Most use brands, but tattoos may also be used.

Vampire Blood
Vampire blood is an intense drug for humans. When taken in heavy doses it can have severe and violent side effects.
Necro blood: Heightened senses, reactions varied. It was better than the market’s best weed.
Succubus blood: A party drug that wasn’t for pussies. Too much and you’re out of your mind. Like taking E and acid at the same time.
Revenant blood: Take a bunch of uppers, drink a shit ton of coffee, and then chug a five-hour energy and you’ll get the same effect.

Wyverns
Physiology: Wyvern's horns give them the power to shift from dragon to human. Without their horns, they cannot shift nor use the greater scope of their powers without tremendous strain on their lesser form. Wyvern blood is black, and its effects on vampires include speed, agility, greatly enhanced senses, and an almost hallucinogenic high. Their scale colors in their dragon form vary based on their power.

Abilities: Their powers come from specific aspects of the world (i.e. death, life, arcane, time, dreams, fire, water, air, earth, etc.) and the wyverns serve that particular aspect alone. The manifestations of their powers vary from wyvern-to-wyvern.

Bonding: Wyverns can bind themselves to a mortal. This usually involves a brand, tattoo or another type of permanent marking. The practice of attaching oneself to an another immortal is strictly forbidden within their culture.

Family Tree: All Wyverns are related, sister/brother/cousins being the most common.
